Surgeon consultation
At
the time of face-to-face consultation with your surgeon in Subic Bay,
all of these details will be reviewed and all your questions answered.
At this time, you or your surgeon have the right to choose not to conduct
the surgery. The surgeon may decide you are not a good candidate for
the requested procedure or you may change your mind. You may also choose
to get a second opinion from another doctor.
Preparation for your surgical procedure
Your personal assistant will guide you as you have
lab tests done, register for admission to hospital, visit the international
patients’ floor if you wish, and take care of anything else that
is required.
For your own comfort and convenience, or at your
surgeon’s request, you will probably stay in hospital the night
before surgery.
Your surgical procedure.
Surgery will be in our center, with a fully
qualified, English-speaking team in the operating room. Your personal
assistant will receive reports of your progress on a regular basis and
will be waiting by the Recovery Room as you come out of surgery. Later,
when you are brought back to your hospital room, she will be there,
ensuring that you are well taken care of. She’ll happily send
email messages or make phone calls updating your family or friends if
you’ve asked for that.
